The university transit system will give consideration to both the environment and welfare issues, maintaining a balance between public and personal transportation while providing the convenience appropriate for a science city.


These regional cores will receive R&D and industrial functions spun off from the core zone, branches of R&D firms, and new residential areas. As a model of a new development concept for the 21st century, it is based on coexisting with nature and scenery in the Itoshima region.
