Annual Plan

To conduct the followings in order to accomplish the purpose of our Organization set forth.

Sectors Contents Plans
1.Promotional activities for academic researches Seminars and briefings, etc. In attempt to attract future industrial establishments, we plan to hold seminars for businesses in Tokyo and Fukuoka as well as setting up our booth at various exhibitions. We also plan to attend briefings and create a network with commercial businesses for increasing opportunities for various business advancements.
Filing petitions to the government We plan to submit petitions to the government and gather information on national research institutions in anticipation of early-stage completion of Kyushu University relocation plan for the promotion of surrounding facilities and infrastructure. We also plan to conduct PR activities with international-level research institutions recommended by local businesses, schools, and the government.
Platform for information on Kyudai-Gakkentoshi We plan to centralize all necessary facets of life by providing information on Kyushu University Gakkentoshi Campus, providing activities and progress reports of various research firms, and information on available real estates, etc. We also plan to handle inquiries about the area with our consultation services. We plan to function as the front desk of Gakkentoshi.
Other promotional activities We plan to publish brochures and business reports with summaries of our PR activities and other useful information on Gakkentoshi. We push for a better understanding of Gakkentoshi through various media outlets as well.
2.Research and development supportive activities through collaborations of schools, businesses, and governments Promotional activities for analysis clusterization We plan to develop an innovation-creation system which mainly functions as an analytical service. We plan to form a human-resource development center and strive to gather related businesses into the area.
Collaborations with the newest and the latest research projects We plan to lure in commercial businesses by establishing a consortium centered around Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics Research (OPERA) as we continue to partner with Kyushu University Center for Future Chemistry. We will also collaborate with Kyushu University Automotive Science Consortium for the promotion of an automotive research center to be established in the area.
Support for the research activities of Fukuoka Association of Foundational Public Information We plan to continue supporting Fukuoka Association of Foundational Public Information, which strives to develop a new infrastructure society in and around Gakkentoshi through the use of Kyushu University's own ID management system.
Research projects with Gakkentoshi as its applicable field We plan to coordinate a society-wide research project with Gakkentoshi as its applicable field along with the partnership of Kyushu University for the world's environmental and food issues.
The ultra-high voltage electron microscopy forum We plan to operate a forum in order to promote business-academia collaboration research project which utilizes Kyushu University's ultra-high voltage electron microscopy.
3.Supportive activities for business-academia collaboration and exchange Urban planning research projects We plan to operate Town On-Campus City-Planning Promotion Committee in effort to formulate a specific urban planning strategy toward the motto of; "a luxurious environment with 'chi' (knowledge), 'jyu' (life), and 'yu' (serenity)". We also plan to continue our research on commercializing Zero-Emission City Model Project, which has been on-going since 2011; as well as our continuing operation of residential environment suitable for foreign-natives.
Collaborative activities centered around Fukuoka Industry-Academia Symphonicity We plan to work together with Fukuoka Industry-Academia Symphonicity for their rental promotions. We also plan to develop a research center and provide support for the construction of the second center.
The Organization for Promotion Industry-Academia Collaboration by Kyudai-Gakkentoshi We plan to strengthen our network by providing information on urban planning for Kyudai-Gakkentoshi through various social exchange programs as well as through our operation of the Organization for Promotion Industry-Academia Collaboration by Kyudai-Gakkentoshi, which would be made up of businesses and research firms established in Kyudai-Gakkentoshi area.
4. Supportive activities for the construction of research firms Hotaru and Town On-Campus business PR activities, etc. We plan to take business trips to Kanto, Kansai, Nagoya regions to bring in businesses, research firms and others to Hotaru (regional core) and Town On-Campus (Kyushu University and nearby areas).
Seminars and briefings regarding our location for business ventures, etc. We plan to promote the establishment of this area by creating stronger bond with potential businesses through our seminars and briefings on Gakkentoshi.
PR for businesses supporting research projects, etc. We also plan to conduct PR activities for hotels and other related businesses which support Kyushu University's research projects.
5. Business establishment subsidiary PR activities Activities such as human resource training for revitalization of the automotive industry in the northern Kyushu (training programs for unit parts design development) We attempt to develop an intellectual base (or a design development hub) in Gakkentoshi for supplying the demands for more human resources particularly in the unit parts design development, so that the automotive industry in northern Kyushu would be able to achieve further advancement in the future.
