　The Organization for Promotion Academic City by Kyushu University (OPACK) which assumed the core role, was established October 1, 2004 to attempt the promotion of the Kyushu University Academic City Plan.
　OPACK is deeply grateful to the authorities that supported the OPACK mission.
　OPACK supports the development of a base of knowledge, the industry, university, and adminstration of the Fukuoka area cooperation, and is the correspondent. 　As such it is carrying out the advance support promotion and enterprise, research institutes of the university and industry cooperation project. This is gargantuan long term project that devotes oneself to doing one's best to construct the remarkable project though of long term that devotes oneself doing one's best to construct the remarkable Academic City in the world centering on the Kyushu University new campus.
　Please give more support and cooperation in the future.

Establishment prospectus

　In settind about 15 years from fisical year 2005, Kyushu University is integrated with other institutions and has transferred to the west area of Fukuoka urban area, and the Academic City has become an intelligent alternating current base in Japan and Asia to make the new campus a nucleus is advanced.
　Kyushu University is the important existence as knowledge base in Kyushu and Asia, and each research fields is at the world-class level. However, many of the results do not sufficiently reflect industrialization or economic development of the region it commercializes.
　In such inside, Kyushu University which the institute to carry out the basic research, has a limit to shoulder the function for linking the commercialization demands of the industrial world, and it is earnestly needed the coordination organization to support such function.
　OPACK was established for the purpose of linking the advantages of intelligent resources such as the research laboratories that center on Kyushu University for cooperation of the industrial, academic, and government, research, examination and information service for the location promotion of corporate and research institute, etc.
　Therefore, OPACK an intelligent resources such as research laboratories that center on Kyushu University makes the best use of the lying surveillance study are promoted to the investigation, examination for the location promotions, and other related projects such as cooperation and the enterprises and production etc. are promoted to the investigation examination for the location promotions etc. such as cooperation and the enterprises and production, learning, and research laboratories, the dissemination and the high technology.
